When you become a member of the Commercial Travellers’ Association you join a prestigious organisation founded in 1874 with National and International affiliation.

In 1944, the CTAco-founded the Adelaide "Carols by Candlelight" charity event which is held in Elder Park every year on the Sunday before Christmas. The CTA is still strongly involved, together with major sponsors
The Advertiser, Adelaide Bank, and Channel 7 in arranging this important event which raises considerable amounts of money for South Australian children’s charities.

The CTAholds friendly regular Friday luncheons and Social functions throughout the year for members. Business Networking events are organised on a regular basis for those members still in the work force, to enable them to meet other professional and busines members and to encourage fellowship and enjoyment, as well as to promote the business interests of our members.
